Jason is the co-founder of Dent, which creates unique experiences that demystify the skills and techniques behind groundbreaking success. Through his research at Dent, he has spent time with dozens of entrepreneurs and leaders like Pixar co-founder Alvy Ray Smith, Lynda.com founder Lynda Weinman, The North Face founder Hap Klopp, and Indiegogo co-founder Danae Ringelmann.
Jason is a board member for the Hydrocephalus Association. He is also a writer; his work has been published in Geekwire, Seattle Business Magazine, Crosscut, and elsewhere.
Before co-founding Dent, Jason was Vice President of Strategy and Development at Parnassus Group, where he helped build award winning events that took bloggers on private jet flights and featured celebrities like William Shatner, Jamie Lynn-Sigler, and Joseph Gordon Levitt.
Jason is a compelling speaker. He has been on stage at a number of events including Future in Review, Ignite Seattle, and CES. He has given private presentations to organizations ranging from K&L Gates to the Seattle Chamber of Commerce.
Jason also knows a few close-up card tricks, and speaks Spanish.
Steve Broback is the cofounder of the Dent Conference and Founder of the Parnassus Group, and is best known for his recent Tweet House and "140" Twitter Conferences produced by his company, the Parnassus Group. With Parnassus, Broback also hosted the Blog Business Summit and the Web Community Forum events.
Broback cofounded Thunder Lizard Productions, (a technology event production company) in 1991, which became a subsidiary of Fawcette Technical Publications in 2000. At Thunder Lizard, Broback orchestrated pioneering technology gatherings focusing on Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Macromedia DreamWeaver. Steve also produced TLP’s Web Design World, Macromedia Web World, and other events with attendees numbering in the tens of thousands.
Steve is also the coauthor of Publish and Prosper: Blogging for Your Business (Peachpit Press, 2006.) and was a professional magician for many years.
