Join a group of Denters for a deep dive and interactive experience that will broaden your perspective and help you explore leadership, personal growth, and effective management.
Dent:Explore events focus on exploring both a location and a topic. In Sun Valley this fall we’ll take a deeper look at different aspects of management: how you execute in groups, how you avoid burnout, how to hire, manage expectations, and how to manage others by better managing yourself.
As always with Dent, you’ll forge relationships with other creative and entrepreneurial people that will last a lifetime, and you’ll get hands-on input from both your peers and world-class experts in some fascinating fields of work.
Limited to 35 people at most, this experience in Sun Valley will include time spent outside the meeting room.
Your ticket covers conference programming only, exclusive of food and lodging. Discounted lodging in Ketchum, most meals, and other activities are the responsibility of the attendees unless otherwise noted in the schedule.
In Sun Valley, we’ll have several amazing guides leading us through interactive sessions and conversations. Here’s who we’ve got:
- Amber Case – Author of Calm Technology. Researcher at The Institute For The Future, cyborg anthropologist, and designer. She’ll be co-hosting a session with Tiana Garoogian, an expert in meditation, film, and light on how to better manage your own emotions and body in order to better manage others.
- Torian Richardson – Facilitator and leadership coach at BW Leadership Institute. Torian will spend some time with us on how to create conditions for vulnerability and connection.
- Matt Shobe – Matt has founded more than one startup, and has spent time at larger organizations as well. He’ll be taking lessons from his time at different ends of the spectrum and teaching us more about how to apply the best practices of large organizations to small ones, or vice-versa.
- Andrea Umbach – Leadership coach who works with executives at big companies like Amazon, Andrea will take us through a process called Hassle Mapping that will help us uncover the opportunities that often sit right beneath our nose.
