Dent:Dinners happen all through the country throughout the year. It’s an opporutnity to get togehte rwith people and form great ideas and build relationships that last.
We host one in Seattle on August 3rd, 2017.
As a part of our ongoing efforts to provide unique and exclusive experiences for members of our community, 2018 Dent Napa speakers Gary Rubens and Zoë Bell joined fellow Denters Colin Henry, Zach Cohn, Jacob Horn, James Sisneros, Steve Broback, Alex Rubens, Kim Larsen, Daniel Oakley, Tamara Ward and Stefanie Michaels at the Magic Castle on September 13.
The CNN Travel headline says it best about this private club for magicians in Los Angeles — “Magic Castle in Hollywood: Hardest trick is getting in”. While that’s true, what’s even harder is getting one of the 12 dinner seats in the Houdini Seance Chamber. This special seance performance and dinner is only open to a small percentage of those who ever visit the castle.
The secrets of the Academy of Magical Arts located in the “castle” (a former victorian mansion) are closely guarded: only members and their guests are granted entry. Those who take the hidden passageway behind the Owl Bookcase are sworn to secrecy and forbidden from recording the miracles they see within. Attendees and speakers who registered for our 2018 Napa conference got this very rare chance to join an intimate group of Denters there.

At Dent we work hard to foster meaningful relationships between people, because those relationships are at the root of so many dents in the universe.
These days, it’s hard to tell if you’re networking with someone or building a real connection that will outlast the evening. We’re surrounded by colleagues, transplants, and our oldest friendships are often mediated through Facebook or other social media platforms.
Dent:Dinner San Francisco is an opportunity to put your phone aside and pick up a fork. A wine glass. A real conversation. Connect with someone who’s up to something fascinating and driven to make people’s lives better. And better yet, they may event catapult you to your own dent or new inspiration.
We’ll be hosting a wonderful Dinner experience in a great part of the city. Our Dent Sommelier Greg Kisor will pick some amazing wine to pair with our meal and our centerpiece fireside chat interview with entrepreneur and author Lisa Q Fetterman.
If you’re already a Denter, join us in October to reconnect with friends over great food, wine, and conversation. For those not yet part of the Dent community, Dent:Dinners are a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, executives, and creatives who are out to “put a dent in the universe.”

Dent creates and supports a community of entrepreneurs, executives, and creatives who are driven to “put a dent in the universe.” We began as an annual conference but quickly developed into a strong community of people who call themselves “Denters.” The name Dent comes from the Steve Jobs quote: “we’re here to put a dent in the universe, why else even be here?”
The annual Dent conference focuses on drawing actionable insights from the stories of others and building an environment where peers from diverse backgrounds and fields of expertise are encouraged to build meaningful relationships through conversation and shared experience. In addition to an annual conference, now hosted in Yountville, CA, Dent works to engage with Denters throughout the year and provide opportunities for them to connect with each other and forge the kinds of connections that lead to powerful collaborations.
An immersive, interactive, and intimate leadership summit exclusively for Dent 2018 registrants.

Please join us for a live video AMA (Ask Me Anything) about Blockchain and Cryptocurrency via Zoom with Denters Alanna Gombert and Stewart Ugelow on Friday, March 23rd at 11am PT.
There’s no question that blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies are in the process of changing the world. The catch is that few people really understand much about this new, cryptic technology that somehow straddles currency, cryptography, and commerce. Luckily, we have Denters (and Dent Passport holders) like Alanna and Stewart who have the experience to enlighten us.
The AMA will run for 45 minutes to an hour and will begin with a 10 minute briefing from both Alanna and Stewart to give context and share their knowledge before moving on to a 5 minute breakdown of how Blockchain and Cryptocurrency is relevant to Dent and our community. The remaining 30-45 minutes will be devoted to Alanna and Stewart answering your Crypto questions in an AMA-style format.
Please note: This AMA is NOT for investment advice, but rather the technology and business of Crypto and Blockchain.
We will email the Zoom connection info to registered Denters the day before.
Don’t miss your chance to learn about this world-changing tech and join in what is sure to be an informative and lively discussion with your fellow Denters. See you there!
