Why Attend?

Dent is not an escape. It’s an accelerant.
The New York Times writer Julia Cho put it best: “My life at home is full of competing demands. I make doctor’s appointments, aim for enough protein and those mythic 10,000 steps, chauffeur my teenager around, cook and wash dishes and try to find time for my work. I alternate between overwhelm and numbness — checking off tasks in my planner by day and falling asleep to comfort shows at night. A conference has a singular focus, and it gives me permission to do the same. Away from all that needs to be maintained, I tend to the generative.

  • Spend time with brilliant minds. Not just watching talks, but sharing meals and ideas with speakers, founders, authors, and innovators.

  • Engage in conversations that blend disciplines and challenge assumptions. The kind of conversations that spark strategic insights and breakthroughs.

  • Step out of your daily whirlwind. Dent The Future offers white space for reflection, reinvention, and fresh perspective on what’s next.

  • Workshops, adventures, and small group sessions create powerful interactions that often lead to new partnerships, ventures, and even friendship.

Getting to Santa Fe

Once you’re in Santa Fe, all our conference events are within walking distance of our conference hotel. Feel free to reach out to our event team if you need help arranging transportation. You can choose to fly into Santa Fe Municipal Airport (SAF); the hotel is an easy taxi ride away. The most convenient airport with many flight options is Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ).

To get from the Albuquerque International Sunport to the La Fonda on the Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe, you might want to explore one of the following options:

  1. Shuttle Services: The most convenient option is to use a shuttle service. You may want to check with Groome Transportation. They offer door-to-door service and operate daily. The shuttle ride is approximately 1.5 hours long.

  2. Car Rentals: If you prefer to have your own transportation, you can rent a car from one of the many rental companies at the Albuquerque airport. The drive to Santa Fe takes about an hour and a half and is quite scenic. Parking is available at the La Fonda on the Plaza Hotel for a fee.

  3. Private Car / Rideshare Services: Another option is to hire a private car service, such as Uber or Lyft. These ride-hailing services operate throughout Albuquerque and Santa Fe and can be a more convenient option than taking a shuttle. The cost is much higher than that of a shuttle, but the ride is more comfortable.
