Slack Communications
The best way to stay in touch before, during, and after Dent is our Slack Channel. We have a growing community of 600+ members that you will have access to! We’ll have a specific private channel for #Dent2025. This is also a great way to make plans for meetups with other Denters during the event.
Getting to Santa Fe
Option 1: Fly into Santa Fe Regional Airport
Select a flight into Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF). This is a small regional airport, and will land you 20 minutes drive away from La Fonda. You can call a taxi or Uber from the airport into town. These are limited, so please bring patience when you land.
Option 2: Fly into Albuquerque and drive to Santa Fe
Select a flight into Albuquerque (ABQ). This is a larger international airport with many more flight opetions. However, you will need to drive an hour to make your way to La Fonda. You can rent a car from the airport or take a shuttle service. Dent does not arrange this and they do fill up so please be sure to plan ahead.
DENTER TIP! Join the Slack Channel to connect with other Denters to plan travel ahead of time. Denters often land on the same flight and share rides to their destination. There’s even a cohort who roadtrips from Denver! Don’t be shy if you’re new - all are welcome to do this!
Your Stay in Santa Fe
Once you’re in Santa Fe, all event activities including meals will be centered around the center of the town (the Plaza). We intentionally try our best to keep things walkable.
We’ve negotiated a special rate for Dent conference attendees with our wonderful host hotel, La Fonda on the Plaza. Information will be emailed to you post-registration.
You are responsible for your own hotel reservations. Please make reservations by August 30, 2025 to guarantee rates and availability. It may be prudent to book sooner than later to ensure availability.
You can extend your stay! Our special Dent The Future rate will be available three days prior to the Saturday before the conference, and three days after Tuesday, September 16, 2025, based on availability.
You can make your stay even more luxurious by booking a room at Terrace Inn at La Fonda. Think of it as a boutique experience within the hotel. Please reach out to andreas@dentthefuture.com to reserve this accommodation.
Other local hotels you might consider include La Posada, the Drury, and the Hilton.

-
Make plans with your new friends! Say “yes” to someone you didn’t get to chat with yet! Wherever the evening takes you, this dinner will be on your own. Slack is a great place to coordinate.
-
Keep an eye on your email before the event, and details will be there to help give you access. We also do our best to get all registered attendees added. The event Slack channel is open now (long before the event) so you can access the community early.

In the Lumpkin Room of La Fonda on the Plaza. This is their main event space.
-
This is one of the most confusing areas to access in the hotel! Walk towards the parking garage, and access La Terraza from the elevator on the right, or you can take the stairs on the left side.
-
PowerPoint Karaoke is a long time tradition at Dent. A PowerPoint of random slides is presented to the audience, and the presenter must speak to them as if they built the deck! It’s a fun time, and makes for good laughs.
-
We curate our dinners to make sure great connections happen over a great meal. We do not allow selection or changes for dine around locations. Tuesday dinners are open for you to make your personal plans though!
-
Many Denters enjoy late night talks in the warmth of the Hot Tub, located on the roof near La Terraza. This is usually coordinated in the Slack Channel during late night activities.
