Inside the Hacker's Mind
REKCAH Comics — the comic-publishing arm of Black Hills Information Security — makes its San Diego Comic-Con debut. The panel digs into how hacking manifests across media, like TV's Mr. Robot and gaming's Watch Dogs, and modern cyber tactics shape both reality and fiction.
The Science of Severance
Back by popular demand after last year's SRO session! The hit AppleTV show Severance imagines a world where surgery can cleave memory and identity into two selves. Our panel of neuroscientists examines how plausible that is now or in the near-future — from brain-computer interfaces and memory-editing research to the ethics of corporate control over personhood.
