Experience driven connections
We work hard to help our community members build relationships that will open doors and create new opportunities. Shared experiences are at the core of human connection, and Dent is far more than a conference or a simple networking event -- we are a community.
Dent Passport holders are invited to participate in unique experiences throughout the year and across the United States. Here are a few examples of the of unique excursions we have hosted.
The Astronaut Perspective at Aquarius Reef Base
A small group of Denters gathered at Florida International University's Aquarius Reef Base off the coast of Key Largo, FL to learn from Denter and Astronaut Cady Coleman about how the base is used to train for life on the International Space Station.
Denters who are certified to dive were able to visit the base, and some were able to stay in the base overnight.

Backstage Tour in Las Vegas with Teller

Dent Passport holders had the remarkable opportunity recently to socialize a bit backstage in Las Vegas with Teller, the silent half of the Emmy award-winning Penn & Teller duo.
We were invited to spend some time with Teller just before he went onstage. During that time, we learned more about how he and Penn develop their act and what drives them to innovate.
Dent at San Diego Comic Con 2019
For years, Dent has helped San Diego Comic Con by sourcing and enhancing the science and tech panels available to SDCC attendees.
In 2019, we're hosting a set of panels, a reception with actor and director LeVar Burton, and a dinner for Dent Passport holders.

Dent Dinner at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles

The Magic Castle is a private club for magicians in Los Angeles -- where no photos are allowed. According to CNN, the "hardest trick is getting in."
Denter and magician Jamy Ian Swiss recently guided a set of 20 Denters through the castle and gave a custom close-up magic performance in one of the venues unique performance rooms.
