2025: Join Us for Another Action-Packed Year of Denting the Universe (and 2024 in review)

It's hard to believe 2024 is almost over, and 2025 looms on the horizon. As we look forward to the next 12 months, we'd like to remind our community of the great year we had, and what we have planned for 2025. 

Dent Passport members and all Dent The Future Conference registrants are invited to some remarkable one-of-a kind events throughout the year. To participate, all you need to do is register for our Santa Fe conference — or just join Dent Passport. If you’re not already a Dent Passport member, your conference registration includes a year of Dent Passport.

Here’s What Denters Experienced This Past Year:

Dent:Explore Maui: Held at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, Explore Maui was an immersive experience focused on collaboration. This four-day event included professional talks, workshops, dinners, and activities. 

Dent Passport Collaboration Weekend: Our annual weekend-long event for Dent Passport members in San Diego, California. As always, this gathering included collaborative work sessions and informal dinners. 

Dent:Passport Dinner - Denver:  An exclusive event for Dent Passport members featuring a “Gobblefunk” dinner at The Inventing Room in Denver, Colorado. The event was inspired by “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory”, and featured a four-course meal and three liquid nitrogen cocktails.

Dinner with author and Former CIA Chief of Disguise Jonna Mendez: A private dinner with Jonna Mendez, author of “In True Face,” held in celebration of her visit to Ketchum, Idaho. The dinner was held after her talk about In True Face: A Woman’s Life in the CIA, Unmasked held at the Community Library in Ketchum, Idaho.

Dent:AI Reception and Startup Showcase (Seattle): Held at The Collective, a private club in Seattle, Dent hosted a reception and showcase for AI startups in Seattle. The sold out reception (500 registered), featured talks by experts and demo tables for twelve AI startups.

Dent Passport: Magic Castle Dinner & An Insiders Tour of NASA JPL Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a weekend event for Dent Passport members in Los Angeles, California. The event included dinner at the exclusive Magic Castle on the evening of June 2, 2024 and a private tour of the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory the next morning. 

Dent:AI Reception and Startup Showcase (Bellevue): Held at the University of Washington’s Global Innovation Exchange (GIX) Campus in Bellevue, Dent hosted our second reception and showcase for AI startups. The sold out reception featured talks by experts and demo tables for twelve AI startups.

Denter Pizza Night: A casual gathering of the community at Dent co-founder Jason Preston’s house in Seattle, Washington. The event featured pizza, wine, and great conversation. 

Dent The Future Conference Santa Fe: Our annual, invitation-only conference focused on the future, held in Santa Fe, New Mexico from September 22–24, 2024. It was again held at the beautiful La Fonda on the Plaza.

Dent: Blend Richmond 2024: The eighth annual Dent: Blend event in Richmond, Virginia, hosted by Dean Browell and the team at Feedback Agency. This year focused on “experience.” The event featured an all-female speaker lineup for the first time. Over 100 people attended, double the number from prior years.

What’s Coming Up?

Here is what is currently on our calendar. Many more experiences will be scheduled as the year progresses:

November: Dent Passport Bay Area Meetup

Denter Charlene Li has generously offered her San Francisco home for us to meet and enjoy some good wine and snacks. While this event is at full capacity, more meetups like this will be scheduled throughout the year.

December: Informal Maui Retreat

A few Denters have self-organized to go to Maui to help Ydriss Noura launch his new restaurant in Lahaina on January 6, and the Sheraton Kaanapali (a great hotel with an amazing beach and snorkeling) has offered us a nice group rate (expires soon!). January 2024:
Cady Coleman Dinner and Talk(s) in Seattle

Join us on January 14 at Town Hall Seattle for an interview with Cady Coleman about her new book, Sharing Space, with Dent co-founder Steve Broback. Dent Passport members are invited to a private reception prior.

Annual Collaboration Weekend in San Diego

The Dent Passport Collaboration Weekend, held annually since 2018, is an informal weekend gathering for Denters to work on projects together in a supportive and stimulating environment. The weekend includes informal dinners on Friday and Saturday evenings. Registration will be available soon (January 24-26).

Dent:AI Reception and Startup Showcase San Diego

We will be hosting our third reception and showcase for AI startups. The event, planned to coincide with the Collaboration Weekend, will also feature talks by experts. 

September: Dent Conference 2025 in Santa Fe

Save the date for Dent 2025, September 14-16, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Stay tuned as we roll out the schedule, but you won’t want to miss this year’s amazing lineup of speakers, activities, inspiration, community, and connection.

November: Dent Blend Richmond
