First Four Dent 2026 Activity Day Sessions Announced

Dent is more than talks on a stage. Here are the first four hands-on workshops for Sunday Activity Day, September 13-15 at La Fonda on the Plaza in Santa Fe.

When you attend Dent, you quickly see it is more than a sit-back-and-watch-PowerPoint conference.

Every year we begin on Sunday with Activity Day, a morning and afternoon of 90 to 120 minute, small-group experiences designed to get you out of your comfort zone and build the connection that makes the rest of the conference so unique.

Here is a sneak peek at the first four confirmed activities for Dent 2026:

Build Your First AI Agent: A Hands-On Workshop

Host: Dr. Deborah Berebichez, physicist and enterprise AI leader

Go from user to builder, working through tool selection and agent scaffolding. A rare chance to learn from a physicist who deploys AI at scale for a global firm like EY, well beyond the lab.

Poker Essentials: A World Champion's Guide to Raising Your Game

Host: Maria Konnikova, WSOP champion and psychology PhD

Always wanted to join the table? Maria walks you through the fundamentals and shows how psychology shapes every decision, from a writer who used her research to beat the pros and win a World Series of Poker bracelet.

The Art of the Pie: Pizza-Making Workshop

Host: Adam Sachs, award-winning pizza maestro

A perennial Dent favorite returns to the outdoor kitchen to explore the chemistry of dough and the craft of a perfect pie. Adam is an award-winning pizza maker and a close colleague of world-famous pizza champion Tony Gemignani. Expect a masterclass in the art and science of food.

Dungeons & Dragons 101: Interactive Storytelling

Host: Dean Browell, PhD, Chief Behavioral Officer at Feedback

Back by popular demand. Build a narrative from scratch in a small group, a workshop in collaborative storytelling, creative problem-solving, and un-learning traditional leadership roles.
